Thomas, I never heard anything about him taking training as a nurse. That may have been something the local media didn't want known because it would have limited the coverage they had about the situation. The parents seemed to have some sort of religious beliefs that didn't approve of the taking of a life, but if so, they were listening to the wrong person regarding the wishes of God. The God that I was once taught about, would not have condoned the years of efforts to keep her from Him. I believe that, if there is no hope for a quality of life for any patient, it is time to let go.
