"Just 42" countries now, eh? In the late 1980's-early 1990's, and before all the cuts in the Military, equipment, and the CIA cuts, we did have 70 countries we were in with military, plus at the time the retired Admiral came to talk to us, he said we were equipped to fight 2 major conflicts at the same time if necessary.

And 42 countries now NO WONDER we can't get more than 160,000 people to Iraq.....There have to be many people in the Military that are someplace else in the world, guarding US interests, and/or other country interests for the US.

Just musing tonight:

Wonder if we can still fight 2 major conflicts at the same time today?

Also, wonder if there are any other companies beside Halliburton, that can handle as many thing as they do, and as well? US companies, that is.

So many people seem to be there with bows, arrows, and slingshots with loud mouths, but I haven't seen a single other company source noted by those anti-Halliburton people.

I also wonder how many people who work for that Corporation are Repubs, how many Dems, ad how many "other"....?? It seems as if it is always the LeftWingers that carp constantly about Halliburton...but I haven't seen any response to the fact that if Halliburton goes belly-up, who would fill the employment gap for the people who work at this Corporation....
