It is a very short step from making your own choices about death and the government making them for you. And throughout our history, our government has always demonstrated a willingness to take life. That's not the case. The government has consistently taken away our opportunities to choose death. Suicide is still a crime. I agree with you that we should be able to make our own choices about death. Government should not take a life unwilling to be taken nor should it foil a willing death. You want the government to favor life. I want the government to favor freedom of choice.
