Beheading is a particularly cruel death in that the head remains conscious for up to 30 seconds.
As you know I don't agree with much of what you believe about Iraq but I do agree that Don's gratuitous remarks were uncalled for.

As to the WP discussion if it turns out that WP was used against civilians then the central problem is who authorized its use and why.

Your use of "illegal combatants" is debatable too. That argument can be used against any person or group that fights against an invader or oppressor. Including G.W. back in 1776. And probably was by the British. Doesn't make the use of "illegal combatants" legitimate
