I do not miss this. I have said a couple of times now, there are bad people across all lines. White, black, rich, poor, men, woman, Asian, Arab, American, etc., etc., etc.

But the folks for the good prinicipals (life, liberty and pursuit of happiness) won. Undeniably.

"You say the good guys won and I say the good guys are still fighting."

I understand your view better with this summary. Mine is that there will always be good and bad people, even when there is a clear victory for good principals. To counter your analogy above, I say there are too many "bad" people who fight against the clearly good principals(even if all did not practice them) that the winning side fought for. I also take exception to your opinion that "ALL participated in slavery and wiping out the Indians and suppressing the rights of women and minorities".
