As I read about current NO, I thought of Iraq, and the total irony. New Orleans was a city of about 1/2 million plus the surrounding areas. This city resides in the State of LA. Many of the Dems and some of the hard right Repubs as well don't see any parallel between the sq miles of Iraq and the square miles of the Gulf Coast, let alone the city of NO by itself. And yet, they expect that Iraq will be operational and completely rebuilt AND a new government and NEW Constitution in a period of winning the war, ALL in less than 3 years....
