"A lot of collateral damage is occurring and a lot of civilians are dying. Its an ugly mess." These are true statements. Excellent reasons for more people to support the cause and get the Iraqis going, instead of painting the President (and by extension the U.S.A.) as a lying crusader who is in it for the buck. Note: Not saying you have said that in your post. "the US Military's hands are not clean" This implies they try to do this. Individuals have blown it at times I am sure, but the U.S. military is not a group as John Kerry described incorrectly (and I think dishonestly) in his post viet nam heydey. And soldiers have to face punishment when they commit the crime of killing individuals purposely. It is an ugly mess right now, but I am still confident in a victory and an Iraqi population much better off than they were. Just wish more were with us.
