Well, that is the problem. While he did say immediate, he also qualified it at the time as "consistent with safety of the troops". He even mentioned 6 months as a likely time frame. So there is no "nuance" except in the minds of the spinners.

Amazing how easily they twist things around.........and they can't understand why Bush's ratings are falling.

CJ, Sometimes it helps to actually read the articles to which the headlines are attached.

Not my fault if the press can't tone down their sensationalism. Yes, I know the truth and what the Congressman wants, but the sheer emotion in his statements pretty much left little room for "nuance" like a six-month time frame.
