"It means his speeches of late are falling on death ears." Assuming you meant deaf ears, that is wrong. Thank you.......yes.......although some of those ears I suspect are becoming deadened. They are falling on sceptical ears, and his speeches and actions are seen as self-serving and misleading. Which is why they keep pushing down, despite the fact that the numbers are already in the loony tunes end of the spectrum where you can usually find 30-35% of the population that will believe almost anything... Apparently, they can go lower.......I think Nixon went down as low as 27%. I would think that below 30% someone should ask for his and Cheney's resignations. If you did mean death ears, I am going to have to think about this some more. That's not necessary. ted

If you did mean death ears, I am going to have to think about this some more. ucimc.org In my home state of Maine the unemployment rate is 4.2 statewide and 5.2 in Aroostook County, George Walker Bush and the Republican Party say go back to work, yet here in Maine most of the employment is in the Southern Counties of the State. Job retraining is a joke is joke here in Maine because one it’s under funded and three the people in charge are stingy with the funds…I made suggestion for retraining, medical care and so on. But every suggestion I have made have fallen on death ears in Washington.
