"There will be no victory.....so get that out of your head." The problem is that there is a civil war going on in Iraq. It hasn't come out fully in the open, but when they start bombing mosque's, it isn't too far away. And we don't have any where near enough manpower to hold the lid on a civil war. And when that gets off the ground, then we start losing troops at a fast rate. This is probably what Murtha is hearing. He has some of the tightest links into the military of probably anyone in Congress. I suspect you are right. When I listened to him speak, this was not a politico smoothy talking.......back in MN, we would have called him salt of the earth. I suspect he is hearing things that are not making him very happy at all which just sickens me. More than there getting killed, I worry about American soldiers getting captured by the insurgents. There is one guy from OH who has been missing for a year. If he is still alive, I can't imagine what he has gone through. All the things Bush and his prisons have done to Muslims only fuels the outrage and encourages the Muslims to commit atrocities against Americans. What a nightmare we let this idiot put us into........we will be paying for his stupidity for a long time.
