Jefferson would be against Bushies. That is my point. Jefferson also said dissent and honest open debate are patriotic and important. So is challenging corrupt politicians.

That actual quote isn't mine. I have nothing to do with it. I think it's probably paraphrasing, a simplification of something Jefferson said. But he did deliver the same message.

Why would you even question the value of dissent in a free society? What are you, a totalitarian? Like dictators?
