Read Jefferson. I did. He's against Bushie philosophy andtactics. very much so. right down the line.. Jefferson is for the following: - Honest open debate, minority opinion respected - The truth is king, not dogma or spin - No politician is above the law in the slightest - Public opinion decides, not officials - Honest dissent is the sigh of a healthy democracy - Church must be kept far away from government - Athiests are just as respectable as theists - The press must be free, strong and able to challenge politicians Name one of the above Bushies would support. None of them. The opposite in fact.
