I am not Chinu. You're posting the wrong guy. This is not my thread and didn't write that quote. I simply said Jefferson also defended dissent as patriotic. Not only that, but Jefferson's ideals have been attacked and/or abandoned by Bushies. Bushie rightwingers therefore are pretty much un-American in their views. They neocons, radicals, reckless arrogant pushers of a new credo, to "trust us, shut up and get out of the way". That's not how American works. Also, the quote is on the web as Jefferson's but you cxan't believe everything you read on websites, especially rightwing attack sites. gg Liberal and moderate sites have much more respect for truthful reporting.
