I'm not too clear on what you want out of this argument either.

This is my position:

Of course Bush/Cheney have the right to express opinions - they just don't have the moral authority to judge what is or isn't patriotic vis a vis war - they have never been there and they judge others who have.

Bush/Cheney have the legal right to send young men into battle too - they are legally elected - I just question their moral authority to do so - being war evaders themselves.
