Your brand can still carry a premium, even if you have a commodity product. Coke is a good example. Intel marketing is and should be a competitive advantage going forward.

I agree that the relationship with Apple will probably be one of the smartest moves Intel has made in a while. Apple is the perfect partner to take Intel chips and use them in innovative products. The problem with Intel stock is that they are seen as a pure computer technology company, and the computer industry is no longer exciting.

Which business do you mean? I hope you didn't mean the PC microprocessor business, with 1.2 total number of suppliers...
