At first you did not say that. But I'm glad that you now realize that Nixon was a POS even though he resigned before receiving full justice...and then pardoned by fellow republican slime ball Ford.

GHW Bush said that these were sad times for the republican party...and he strove to open a new chapter in the history of your party. He did bring respect back to your party. But that respect has been lost, and deeply so with the actions of his son.

Close friend and former advisor to HW Bush, Brent Scowcroft and former Powell Aide Wilkerson have both gone on record admonishing the actions of the son of Bush...GW Bush.

George W. Bush has reopened a new chapter in the history of your party. He's brought back secrecy, deception and skullduggery to a new low. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush didn't have an enemies list...just like Nixon. I think that Wilson got on that list...and they attacked him and his wife too. Why would administration officials contact members of the media to speak with them about covert CIA agents anyway? What is the purpose of these discussions?

And you didn't even reply to what's important to all of us today:

What is the Bush plan for Iraq? Is it really to hand over control to the Iraqis? The new government made up of the Shia majority? The close bretheren to Iran. If this is the goal...then you have to fully fund that goal, don't you?

And if you do not put the resources into the stated goal, what does that mean?

John Dean's book "Worse Than Watergate" was prescient. But who better than DEan to know a rotten White House when he smelled it. DEan has been there before and recognizes all the signs. Truly tragic for our country that Rove and company were able to steal those elections.
