President grants Sharon request to dissolve parliament Israeli prime minister poised to bolt Likud, form new party Like I asked Z, do you think its real? I know that Sharon is bolting the Likud but is it a leopard really changing his spots, or has the Likud become too difficult an environment for him to move freely and he wants a new party where he can have free reign? Is he really committed to a new Palestinian state and to peace, or simply repositioning himself and Israel to fight another way. After all, he was a co founder of Likud and strongly supported their policies for decades.
