I remember a dialog you and I had once over my use of the word, precipitous. Indeed, it is not a common usage. But I saw it here and thought of you. Message 21905211 >>"Put yourself in the shoes of a soldier who thinks that we're going to pull out precipitously or immediately, as some people have proposed.<< Ironic that the context in which I used the word was about how we got into that very same war. We had people who entered precipitously and now we have people who want to leave precipitously. Of course, neither would consider that their side was acting pricipitously, only the other side. <g>
