Boy, sure like to know where they come up with that median SF house price? I don't think you can find that for a mid-level type house, anywhere on either coast, let alone Yakima or Pendleton. What really matters is California, where the median is at least two and half time that, and has the fifth largest economy in the world.

In the third quarter, the median family income was $57,511, up from $56,917 in the second quarter, and the median price of a single-family home was $215,900, greater than the $207,900 price in the second quarter, NAR said.
