Now that's a stretch, complaining that . . .

the UAW has never become involved in GM management, nor have they ever forced GM management to become quality or cost competitive.

Blaming hourly workers for failing to force management to perform their jobs correctly just doesn't make sense.

I can only imagine the outrage of GM management if the UAW did try to do this.

I don't think that criticism would sound well in Japan or Europe either.

GM management has a long history of attempting to blame others for their own failings. After decades of mismanagement that is getting old.
