So, what that says is Wilson found evidence that Iraq sought to acquire yellowcake from Africa. Right?

Wison spoke with the ex-Pime Minister who "assumed" the Iraqis wanted to purchase yellowcake. It doesn't say exactly what the Iraqi delegation asked for in the meeting.

Two things stand out, IMHO:

..."the procurement is not particularly significant to Iraq's nuclear ambitions because the Iraqis already have a large stock of uranium oxide in their inventory."

...the INR's Iraq analyst had concluded that papers recently obtained by U.S. intelligence related to the supposed Iraqi-Niger uranium deal were "clearly a forgery"

There is no evidence that Iraq sought yellowcake unless one takes the ex Prime Minister's "assumption" as fact.

Iraq didn't need the yellowcake.

The documents alleging a deal were forged.
