The discussion is about what did the dems and GW know before the invasion of Iraq. GW had access to the classified NIE report. It contains many dissenting opinions regarding the veracity and authenticity of the intel about WMD. It was old, outdated and from sources whose access and truthfulness was questionable. That dissent was ignored by this administration and removed by the CIA when the unclassified version was released. It is this unclassified version that most of congress had ready access to. The demos did not have access to the same intel that GW had.
