So you were reading an opinion piece by David Corn of the Nation. That's fine if you want to read the BDS inflicted wackos. But let's get down to facts.

The bipartisan Senate Intelligence Report says that Wilson found evidence that Iraq sought to acquire yellowcake from Africa. Right? It doesn't say Iraq was successful, but it says the ex-PM thought they were intent on acquiring it. Right?

"GW knew the intel was shaky at best and forged ahead anyways."

Not necessarily so. Remember Bush’s argument is now that he was incompetent eg. he screwed up like everyone on the intelligence- and that was why Iraq was invaded.

He may not have known then.

Thing is -

It was a Republican President

A Republican Senate

A Republican House

Who cares what Democrats thought about the intelligence - Dems wouldn't have taken the country to war in Iraq.
