The US needs to move very aggressively on the economic and cultural front in the next 10 years in order to wean away those Arab youths from the influence of the Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the extremist mullahs and of course Al Qaeda. If madrass style schools are either reformed to eliminate the "hate all infidel" type training or better yet outlawed all the above could easily happen. We're not going to allow someone to raise a viper and then give that viper aide to make him stronger. You're right about the "feudalistic lords". The parallel with the mideastern countries is undeniable.
