Well, going into this week I was looking for two flat to down days, then a swift move up to higher highs, then backing off slightly at the end of the month.

We seem to be skipping the first part <G>

Anyway, I'm looking for a range-bound 3-weeks here, with us presently in the middle of said range.

Longer term, we've probably got an upward bias going into mid-January. I would not be surprised to see 2500-2600 COMP by then and 1878 NDX and 1320 SPX.

Longer term, I'm wary of the hand-over to Bernanke on Jan. 31st. At best, I think we'll have a pullback from Mid-Jan to the end of February. We'll see.

2087 NDX and 2400 NDX are two other levels to watch longer term. If we get to 2400 NDX, I anticipate we'll spend a few years zig-zagging between that level and 1640 NDX.
