workingmother.com Check this out- whatever your idea of socially conscious, you can probably find a list with enough companies, that you can pick some winners. We own several companies on the above list- I was pleased to see F is there :-)

Went to HD and interviewed some of the help and you are right. Their opinion that the CEO should take some of the five million or more he makes, give some to the employees by spreading it equally... Very socialistic but they need a boost. I then bought a dishwasher and had one of the worst experiences that I have had in 74 years of living. They kept telling me it was coming. I would stay home and it never would come. After four days of this I finally got it. They called this morning and asked me whether I was satisfied and I told them I would never buy a major appliance at HD and I am a stockholder.. Maybe not for long. (smile) ML
