Bush-Cheney used and abused the media to rise to power. They manipulated, tricked, bullied, threatened, framed and lied to the media in order to get them to print and parrot their deceptions.

Reporters are finally starting to do their jobs again, holding crooked politicians accountable. This is a very good sign for our democracy. If we did not have a free strong press we would fall down the slippery slope toward totalitarianism. You may want a Bushie dictator, but the rest of us don't.

BTW: I am still waiting for Bill O'Reilly to hold Bush accountable for for no WMD's in Iraq, as he promised to do during the run-up to the war. And why isn't Hannity apologizing for all the lies he told, for instance that Iraqi oil was going to pay for the entire war?
