Iraqis want the US out of there. They even want the terrorists out of there. It is people power and they can get anything done if they want to. Those Iraqis along with their Jordanian counterparts are angry at Zarqawi for having bombed a wedding. And they are the ones leaking his whereabouts. In a similar vein they want the US out of Iraq and are cooperating with those who are planting roadside bombs which are killing US military personnel.

That is the background of Murtha's call for a quick phased pullout of US forces and turning over Iraq to the Iraqis.
