Interesting that ATYT is down.Discrete graphics chips have huge margins. In 99 Intel had zero market share.

By including graphics chips in their motherboards and "packaging it together Intel is now # 1 in market share.

With good margins in the high end and intel giving good performance along with their microprocessor, there is no doubt in my mind that Intel will persue graphic chips on the high end as well.

Clock speeds on graphics chip have been held back by memory not keeping up (current high end clock speeds for the combinmation is arounf 400mhz.

My bet is Intel wants Mu to develope fast memory chips and they'll go after the graphics chip til they get so fast the premium prices paid to the discrete makers will put them into the history books.

It is a long term bet and they have the money to grab that part of the box as well.

Its probably a good time to retire and maybe short Atyt and Nvidia por at least be watching them for a last a final top.
