Apparently someone knew in advance...

Calpine lost 29 cents, or 23%, to 96 cents after its board announced the departures of its chief executive and chief financial officers in order to "better address" the company's financial challenges. The power provider said Peter Cartwright, its chairman, president and CEO, and Robert Kelly, its chief financial officer, are no longer with the company. Calpine named lead director Kenneth T. Derr chairman and acting chief executive.
