"Many prominent Democrats saw the same intelligence that Bush did."

No they didn't. They saw the intelligence that the administration made available.

Ted, Bush takes a nation of nearly 300 million people to war over the flimiest of evidence

He received widespread Democrat support.

No, he didn't. The vote in the house was like 100 dems.......and in the Senate, 10-20 Dem. senators. That's not "widespread".

Many prominent Democrats saw the same intelligence that Bush did.

No, they didn't. They saw intelligence that was cherry picked by Bush and Cheney. And as the Germans are now pointing out....the intel was given a level of veracity by Bush and Cheney that was unwarranted.

Now the Dems are pretending that they were snookered. Weak.

They are not pretending. The whole country was snookered. Only a few of us were calling Bush and Cheney liars.........and we were called every name under the sun including traitors and benedict arnolds.

Do any of you even have clue as to why only 34% approve of Bush's performance?

I have many clues. You only want to pay attention to the clues that support "your side."

What are your clues?

In the hirerarchy of needs, we've gone from WMDs and imminent danger, to "it'll be a cake walk, and we'll be welcomed with flowers and candy", to "mission accomplished", to transforming the Middle East, to installing democracy in Iraq only, to "well, we should not expect it to be a Jeffersonian democracy after all" to "how do we get our collective asses out of there"....bush has screwed up in every imaginable way. It's amazing that he has 34% approval...it proves that there are a lot of assholes still in this country.
