<<SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Texas Instruments Inc. shares were up 2.8% at $32.70 in midday trade Tuesday after an analyst from R. W. Baird issued a note saying it appears the chip company has reached an agreement to sell its sensor and RFID business. The sale will be dilutive to TI's per-share earnings by 10 cents to 12 cents and add to its gross margin by as much as 150 basis points, analyst Tristan Gerra wrote in a note to clients. Gerra reiterated his outperform rating on TI, as well as his $43 price target on TI's shares.>>
