With 70 million gun owners in America, they would just go door to door and get shot for their troubles. Movies are not an argument against sensible requirements for demonstrating gun safety and for preventing child access and such. You have the right to bear arms and you are exercising that right. It is not an either/or? I will give an extreme example. You are NOT allowed to carry your guns on the airplane. That is GUN regulation. It does not take away your 2nd amendment rights. Your freedom is NOT lost forever. Your freedom is NOT lost forever because a law is enacted which allows the police to charge you if you sell a pistol to a 12 year. Now I grant that certain laws might open the door to an erosion of freedom. Fight THOSE laws.
