Yep... after Lebanon, Iraq is probably the Arab state with the most secular of traditions (to a great extent, that is a result of Saddam's policies, he regarded religious groups and religiously-tinged trans-national groups like the Arab Brotherhood, as political rivals and clamped down on them severely).

In at least the Shiite half of the country however, Sharia is being reintroduced.
