Isn't this the reason you cherish your right to bear arms?

So if there were laws against supplying guns to juveniles, the story in New Orleans would have been different? How would the gun bearers in New Orleans have responded differently if they had been certified in gun safety?

Give me a break. I'm the last person to put police on a pedestal. I have implied no especial sympathy for either the police or government. I have been arguing that reasonable gun regulations may benefit public safety without infringing on 2nd amendment rights.
