I find it amusing the interpretation today's neocons have about what happened in Vietnam. Forget that it doesn't ring true with official historical accounts but its not what numerous people have said who were in charge over there during the war. Here's one account from a Captain. While his account seems to closely follow the official accounts, it gives the kind of detail those official accounts do not. You may be right.......we may have been fighting a conventional force......but even if that is true, we were not winning except in the imaginations of today's neocons: analog-rf.com
