Do you share my laughter absurdity at the absurdity of your friends suggestion? That suggestion you reported.

I sloppily reported my friend's comment. What he actually said was that Bush's handling of immigration was criminal.

As for laughter, I didn't laugh when he said it but I was definitely startled.

So you really don't think those quotes provided my Mike suggest dishonesty in the President or his adminstration?

The question on the table was whether Democratic members of congress had accused Bush of lying re the justification for the Iraq war. I never spoke to the question of the dishonesty of the members of his administration nor do I see it as relevant. I haven't looked at that subject so I don't have an opinion on it. As a general rule, I assume politicians to be less than honest.

.Do we both comprehend the same language?

I don't imagine that the thread cares to watch us sort that out...
