There was a disagreement on troop levels among the generals. Rumsfeld broke the tie. Maybe it was the right decision, maybe it was the wrong one. More troops probably means more casualties. But you and I aren't plugged in enough to know.

The Abu-Garib scandal was what happens when a critical mass of incompetent people randomly end up together. All the opinions you express show pathetic simple minded single issue non logic that identifies you as an idiot with the typical hated of PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH and friends agenda.

Quite simply America fought Iraq with the Military it had. To send more troops would have meant a dumbing down of capability averaged across all of the Military. It would have meant more targets who needed more convoys of supplies in more trucks that were less than optimally armored driven by more men less than optimally armored.

To rebuilt the Iraq Military from scratch it would have taken as long or maybe longer as fewer experienced trainers would be available to train as they were spread around in all those less than optimally armored troops.

Mr. bill and friends shrank the military for eight years. I don't say that to find fault or to blame. Mr. bill did not know any better and had no one to advise him and there was not real political will in opposition. The entire country really did not think about what a post cold war military should be. But when a mission of defense changes because of an event like 911, it takes years a good part of a decade to rebuilt and redeploy and fight.

Afghanistan and Iraq are simply amazing military victories.
They are an amazing example of adaption and getting the job done in orders of magnitude more productive ways. The American government has never been in perpetual readiness training and exercises in rebuilding nations on the other side of the planet. It's a task you figure out as you do it with the resources you have to do it. On rebuilding you can sketch out some generalized notions ahead of time and maybe they will be of some use. That is the real world.

The opinions you express are so stupid I believe is it not possible to not simply dismiss them as more farts from an asshole. It is no wonder you post hiding behind an anonymous handle.

There are only four letters of truth in all you posts. JERK!

And as I think about it. when I read the drivel of kenny, buddy, balloon as a few other, I wonder if I am simply seeing variations in brain waves from identical twins.
