Here is one that I pulled off and was paid on.
Looking at a flat map of the US Canada and Greenland I stated "Wow - Greenland is a larger Island than Australia".

Someone challenged me on it so a bet was made.
Of course Greenland is not larger than Australia and I knew that full well. But Australia is not an island. it is a continent and the definition is clear that an island can not be a continent.
