I think the recent two year lateral consolidation wore out a lot of people but we are just now starting to reap the benefits of that consolidation the past six weeks. Our weekly patterns have significant upside projections which I posted here some time back. The Nasdaq was the last to make the breakout move out of its Weekly base this week.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the market pullback in the coming week or two to reset things somewhat but I expect pullbacks to be contained at/near our rising 20 SMA's. Take a look at our SOX pattern which finally tagged its neckline the past two sessions and may need a dip to form a right shoulder down to the 450-470 area. The pattern projects to 560 in time. This pattern holds the key to the next leg up in the markets in my opinion. Once this pattern breaks after some likely consolidation we should run hard. My scans continue to show a tremendous amount of 12-18 month bases that are ripe for long runs soon.
