Wasn't just for that comment, either, or else Prof. Nicholas "Million Mogadishus" de Genova of Columbia would have been asked to resign as well. It's because Prof. Daly threatened to silence the voices of conservative students on campus. They may have been idle threats, but I guess the president of the college isn't taking it lightly. You may have missed the part where he was called an "adjunct instructor". "Adjunct" suggests he wasn't tenured. I believe de Genova was.
