I've never experienced the little mossies in your area, but I have to say that in Northern BC they are nuts. Worked way, way up there (about the same level as Juneau but well inland) a couple of summers as a tree planter putting myself through university. We literally had to wear those surgical type masks to stop from breathing them in. Thank god for Muskol. Keeps the bugs off but it melts plastic.... kinda makes ya wonder.
