everyone cares I assume even you care about our soldiers, even though you want to put their deaths in perspective. Putting things in perspective doesn't mean you don't care- unless you are arguing it DOES mean that, in which case you would not care about our US soldiers (because you want to put their deaths in "perspective"). Is that what you were saying? Or can we all agree that putting things in perspective in terms of numbers of deaths is really a separate issue from "caring".

Yep and those people are the Bush administration both 41 and 43. After all, Saddam was greeted warmly by Rumsfeld even while it was clear he had gassed people. Saddam was the good buddy, the bulwark against Iran for decades. Try and get to THE TRUTH of the matter instead of swallowing the rightwing talking points which are just as full of make believe as those tramp steamers lobbing anthrax tipped drones at Boston. Oh yeah, did you hear? Bush was going to bomb...ALJAZEERA. Bush was going to attack a media company in a neutral country because he didn't like what they said about him. OMG. Bush is insane and I expect him, at some point in time, to run screaming naked down PA avenue and have the rightwing nuts claim it's simply a new form of presidential recreation. Oh yeah, did you hear? Bush was told in a PDB that Saddam had nothing to do with AQ and, in fact, saw them as an enemy of his secular regime. Of course that didn't stop him, Cheney et al from lying repeatedly about AQ and Saddam which is, of course, THE BIG LIE about Iraq and 911. You must stop being so gullible and look at THE TRUTH.
