I am not sure if anyone has used the term tolerance to advocate tolerating violence. We need to tolerate the innocent while we fight the terrorists. We cannot say that the innocents are collateral damage in the war against terrorism. I would let a terrorist flee and wait to fight him some other day rather than kill 10 innocent folks today and still not succeed in rounding up or killing the terrorist.

However, some things deserve NO tolerance. I will always and forever be INTOLERANT of those who behead innocents in order to strike fear in others and terrorists in general.

George, I couldn't agree with you more. I should have qualified what I said but I thought the thread would take what you've written for granted.

It seems that the thread in general has this idea from past posts that Chinu is some kind of terrorist living in some hole and plotting the downfall of the US. I've hear all sorts of things about who he or they are. I take all things on message boards with a large grain of salt until I see some proof. I'd ask you and the thread in general if you have any posts by him that you've found particularly offensive to please provide me a link. Being that Chinu has already admitted that he's an immigrant to the US and that we don't know his country of origin certain problems can easily arise when it comes to reading into his posts.

How do you feel about the Presidents "pro-torture" stance?
