No the taunting continue because the liberals and democrats have no shame whatsoever and allow disgusting conduct of their leaders to continue with no question.

I'm sure the unhinged left wing feels the same way about you. The rest of us call for "a pox on both."

You should quote a list of folks, then say you googled and found nothing

How about a turn signal, an itty bitty segue, before changing subjects?

Now, what is it that I should do? You want a list of folks? Which folks? The list I googled? I didn't google any list of people. I just tried to find quotes asserting that Bush lied and then scanned them to see if any were from Members of Congress.

and when you are questioned answer you were talking about some other group and not those listed in the quote.

Are you questioning my staying on topic in the discussion about Dem Members calling Bush a liar? If you are, below is the origin of that discussion with the scope clearly stated.

Or are you saying I should have reminded people of the scope of the discussion? If you are, you will find if you review the discussion that I did so each time someone offered a "Bush lied" quote from outside that scope.

Now, what is it that you meant by that sentence?

Note the bolded part: "the unhinged right wing has now invented the myth that Democratic members of Congress have called President Bush "a liar" about Iraq. An extensive computer search by myself and a Post researcher can come up with no such accusation."

Now, I didn't do an "extensive" search, but I didn't come up with even one example in my limited search. Neither did anyone who responded to me. Which makes me suspect that Cohen may just be correct. Funny, that.

The disgusting behavior is evident on both sides. And posts that insult repeatedly the other party, as yours do, are just as contributory as anything from the opposite side. Why would you think it otherwise- that your insults are any the less offensive and inhibiting to discussion?
Not only cooperation, but truth, too, has ceased to be a goal. It is lost in this blindered, vicious need to keep some sort of misguided Rightness achievable only by desperate use of black-white thinking. We either "stick it out" or we are "cutting and running". No middle ground is permitted. Any attempt to reach across the abyss finds the "reachee" slammed to the ground by his own group, his words twisted and mutilated.
Intelligent discussion is throttled.
Until you can accept that you are as guilty as the Other, the status remains unchanged.
