It might, it also might cause the terrorists to hide out and collect as many weapons as possible, waiting for the day we leave in order to begin their assault against the new democratic Iraq. I prefer to leave the "Generaling, to the Generals".

We also have to keep in mind what Iran and Syria will do when we leave. They may take the opportunity to launch an attack or destabilize a sector of the country.

I think the definition of "pulling out" will mean different things to different people. To me, pulling out means reducing our force levels down to 20-30K troops. Complete withdrawal probably won't happen for a decade.
