That's the generic democrat problem with the meaning of what "is" means. You see mr. bill was charged about issued concerning if he was being serviced in the White House and not serving in the White House.

That would be how I would reaching for the absurd attempt to explain it. Senate democrats are wizards at absurd distinctions.

Apparently the Senate Democrats do not consider Clinton, who was charged with perjury and obstruction of justice while still in office, to be a "senior White House official".

No, they consider him President. "White House officials" are the professionals who work for him and the VP. That's inside the Beltway nomenclature.
