Ted, I've been on the receiving end of fruitcakes like her, and after a while, you try to get a supervisor on the line, or you hang up. Callers like her become unmanageable. True. I'll never forget how Dogbert answered the question of one caller on a support line. "Take everything on your desk and put them into neat piles. Next, stand on your chair so that you can look over your cubicle wall. Now shout, 'DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO READ A MANUAL?'" I'm pretty sure lots of people who have to answer phones for a living wished they could say what Dogbert said. Personally, I think if you're just going to snap back at a frustrated caller, a little originality can't hurt. Telling a very upset conservative that Bush and Cheney lied isn't very original, IMO. That's why I asked you yesterday why you think so many people are against Bush/Cheney? What that means to you? That one way or another, Bush and Cheney should start demonstrating some more leadership and stop fearing the polls (or the legislators who fear them). Tenchusatsu
