Well by that time ep I think they were pretty French... The Norse component was fairly assimilated already .... Plantangenets etc... The overwhelming Viking influence in England was pretty well direct ... see Danelaw for example... regards Kastel BTW England is an utterly fascinating place if you like history.. In my book only China can compete... but I haven't been everywhere by a longshot... just seeing all of Canada is taxing... I imagine the US is no different..
