I understand your position, I simply think you are blowing this thing way out of proportion. But since you are so concerned, what positive action do you plan on taking, since just posting here accomplishes nothing as you know. When I normally hear complaints, I seldom here about actions...no offense meant to you lorne, but are you really THAT concerned that you will follow up your concerns? Your position regarding it being a responsibility will be interesting to follow. Let us know if you actually do something. IMO it is your business or even a responsibility to object to and stop if possible any other culture or religion from forcing or otherwise their way of life on any American. This IMO is very divisive and destructive for American society. I don't think that freedom should give any special interest group the right to force their way of life on others in a so called free society.
